Harlow Turns One - Sunshine Coast Family/Maternity Photoshoot

A celebration of Harlow turning ONE! Turning one is such a special Milestone to capture in your little one’s life. That first year just flies by, in the blink of an eye they grow from a precious little newborn into a determined, curious and adventurous one year old. Photographs are so important, it is so special to have this moment in time captured to reminisce upon for decades.

What made this photoshoot even more special was capturing the last moments of this family as just three before Harlow’s little brother was born.

Liz + Dave -North Brisbane Engagement Photos

Last weekend Liz and Dave had their first experience in front of the camera for their Engagement Photoshoot. This pair were absolute naturals and it made my job so very easy capturing the fun-loving moments between the two! Liz suggested we find somewhere with Jacaranda’s for their photos as they are in full bloom, so that we did! The photos turned out absolutely beautiful making it a challenging task for Liz and Dave at their viewing appointment to select their favourites.

We’re very excited to be capturing their wedding day in 2020, it will be here in the blink of an eye!

Alyce & Shane Golden Ox Wedding Photography

“I went to London and travelled around until I realised that my whole life I was wandering around everywhere, just looking for you.”

Alyce and Shane met while travelling through Europe. Each leaving their home countries ( Alyce – Australia and Shane – Ireland) and venturing individually on their journey in a new place. Looking for company in a place far from home, it was that important swipe right, not left that lead them to where they are today. Neither were looking for a romantic relationship or anything serious… well that soon changed!

When it came time for Shane’s proposal, he kept it simple and sweet… keeping in mind Alyce’s dislike of “soppy romantic things”. He asked her the big question while sitting on the floor watching Alyce play with her fur-baby.

They have overcome some challenging hurdles together such as travelling together, cultural differences, different upbringing’s, living in London and Shane leaving his family in Ireland to move to Australia.

Well, it was clearly all worth it! Love strikes when you least expect it and it brings with it so much added joy to your life.

Some of Shane’s family travelled all the way from Ireland to be there for his big day. It was so incredibly heart-warming to see how much is loved and missed by his family back in Ireland. Many tears were shed throughout their wedding day (some from us too) and it is our absolute privilege to have been there witnessing their day unfold.

Shane and Alyce’s wedding album is currently being handcrafted and we can not wait for them to have this precious heirloom to pass down through generations!

LOFARO FAMILY + CAKE SMASH / Sunshine Coast Family Photography

A few weeks ago this gorgeous family and I spent the afternoon amongst the beautiful pine trees. The weather was awful and I was so sure we were going to be rained out. However we were in luck! The rain held off just long enough for us to have some fun without being drenched by mother nature.

I think Chase however may have been a little disappointed with the lack of rain. After all, he had brought along his gum-boots with every intention of jumping in muddy puddles. Maybe next time buddy, I’m sure sharing your sisters cake wearing your gum-boots was equally as fun!

These are such beautiful memories I know the Lofaro family will cherish in decades down the track.

As always Tab’s Cakes did an incredible job of the smash cake for Tahlee!

TIAHNA + MATT - Noosa Springs Wedding Photography

On Saturday 15th September 2018, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Tiahna and Matt’s wedding day as it unfolded.

Their wedding was held at the gorgeous Noosa Springs Resort. Not only did this venue LOOK amazing, but the hospitality of the staff was second to none. We were in awe of just how hard working and accomodating the staff were to not only guests but ourselves and other vendors. This is the type of service all Brides and Grooms deserve on their Wedding Day!

Tiahna and Matt are one of the kindest, happiest couples we have met. They have such a warm and welcoming nature about them and we just know they are in for a lifetime of happiness as long as they are together.

Their wedding album is currently being hand-crafted and we can not wait for it to take pride in their home!

Maleny Family Photos

"THE BEST photos I have had done ever.  So happy with them all and Belinda was great. Lovely girl and very professional. She got the photos taken super quick as it was very windy and cold with a baby so wasn’t easy but you would never tell by the photos. Thanks again Belinda. I will definitely be back for more in the future." - Patrice

A few weeks back we met with this beautiful little family out at Maleny. It turned out to be quite a chilly afternoon but they didn't let that bother them one bit! We absolutely love how natural and casual these photos are, they will be cherished dearly for many, many years!

Investing in family photos is something so special that every parent should do. The kids really do grow up so very fast!

We've recently been incorporating more rustic editing and we're loving being able to offer a choice for our clients!

Brittany & Johnathon - Preston Peak Wines Wedding

Brittany and Johnathon tied the knot at Preston Peak this week. Every little detail was absolutely beautiful and we feel so honoured they chose us to capture this special day!

Here is just a small portion of the beautiful photos from their Wedding Day.

Overall, how would you describe your Wedding Day?

A perfect ending to two years of hard work and planning - there’s not a lot I would change!

What was your favourite moment from the day?

Johnathon - the first look, definitely do one if you can, and the fireworks! The ceremony was perfect too.

Britt - when we went for photos with just us, and the moments after that before we walked into the reception where it was just us.

Why did you choose this particular venue?

It was local so all our loved ones could attend, and the view is just breathtaking. The staff are pretty fantastic too so we knew we’d be in good hands!

Your tips for future Brides & Grooms?

Meet with your vendors, make sure you are comfortable with them because it will make all the difference on the day.

Be there. In the moment. Ignore everything else.

You can plan every little thing, but something will still go wrong on the day. Pick your battles - as long as there’s you and your partner, a celebrant, and the people you love, you’ve nailed it so enjoy your hard work!

Oh and definitely, definitely find ten minutes for just you and your partner. The day goes so fast and it’s nice to just have a moment to take in what you just did!

How was your experience working with Sweet Harmony Photography?

Incredible. They were on top of everything. They rolled with the punches, and listened to what I wanted. They let my partner and I be ourselves and just captured it, which is exactly what you want - authentic moments from your day!

Amber & Daniel - Glengariff Historic Estate Wedding

Amber and Daniel tied the knot last week at the beautiful Glengariff Historic Estate. We never tire of Photographing here, the scenery is just amazing!

They had a lovely intimate ceremony with their nearest and dearest surrounded by the endless country views Glengariff has to offer. There is just something extra special about small weddings. As Amber stood at the end of the Aisle waiting to make her entrance, we're sure she appreciated that everyone standing in front of her were not only familiar faces, but faces of those she loves and admires.

Amber and Daniel made their wedding day their own and it was our pleasure to be a part of. We wish them all the best as they venture on to their next chapter as newly-weds!

Tiffany & Steve - Bribie Island Maternity/ Family Photos

We first met Tiffany and Steve back when they had their first born cutie! They're now expecting their second adorable little bundle in the coming weeks!

Their first daughter Temperance is now 18 months of pure cuteness - and cheekiness! Young children often run the show during photoshoots and we just go with the flow. Whilst you scroll through these adorable photos bare in mind, not pictured here is the moment little Temperance face-planted in the ocean. Luckily we got some beautiful photos before she decided she'd rather be sandy and wet!

It's so special watching and capturing families as they grow, these moments and milestones are times that nobody should miss!

to our baby boy

MaternityPhotoshoot (1 of 1).jpg

To our unborn Baby,

We have had your name decided since the day we found out you were a little boy. Which (by the way) your Dad was over the moon finding out he's going to have a Son.

You have been happily growing big and strong in my belly for the past 34 weeks, and in just a few more we will finally get to meet you.

I have absolutely no doubt that you will come into this world a healthy and thriving little boy. If for some reason you were to be born with health struggles I would take on any challenge for and with you to give you the best life possible.

Lately, I find myself focusing on the Mother I hope to be and hope that you will love. At times though, I feel a little anxious at the thought of having full responsibility for another life. These feelings are normal i'm sure and I know no matter what I will always do what is best for you.

Your Dad and I will make a fantastic team raising you, even through the toughest of times. I just know how excited he is to have a little boy, and I know how special you will be to him from the moment he meets you. He is such a kind, giving and thoughtful man... qualities which I hope will pass on to you. He will do everything in his power to keep you safe and make you happy.

Our biggest adventure awaits, and we are so ready for it.

We love you little man!

Piper Turns One

It's been a whole year since I met this little sweetheart for her newborn photos. My goodness, time just flies doesn't it?

I'd be lying if I said this photo session went as smoothly as it looks. Little Piper was not having it on this particular afternoon. However luckily with some great timing all I need is that split second of a smile! She is such a beautiful little human, and they are a beautiful little family.

I love watching my clients grow and change, it's a true blessing.

Ellen & Gareth Branell Homestead Country Wedding

Branell Homestead brought a beautiful country atmosphere to Elle & Gareth's Wedding. This venue holds many stunning photographic backdrops. In addition to the tranquil country scenery, Branell has rustic a country barn, stunning lake, jetty, paddocks and more.  Add to this Elle's incredible styling, a beautiful bunch of people and you're left with a stunning end result!

Elle & Gareth were such a cool, calm and collected couple to photograph! Their day was filled with so much love and laughter, we felt so privileged to feel warmly welcomed amongst their family and friends. We loved sharing in their moments of happiness, tears and plenty of laughter.

TANEKA & BRAD - Engagement Shoot

Taneka met Brad over 6 years ago through her cousin who went to school with him. If you ask Brad, Taneka played "hard to get" but she claims this is not true as she was crazy over him from the beginning!

After a few dates Brad finally built up the courage to make it offical and asked this gorgeous girl to be his girlfriend. Little did he know where they would be six years on.

On October 9th 2017 Brad took Taneka away for a romantic getaway at a rainforest retreat. The following day he had organised a day filled with bush walks, sight seeing and a beautiful lunch picnic filled with all Taneka's favourite things. It was there at the gorgeous Springbrook lookout, where they were admiring the stunning view that Taneka turned around to find Brad down on one knee, resulting in many happy tears!

These two are very excited to start the rest of their lives together as Husband and Wife. I have no doubt they will make each other very happy for a lifetime!

Emily Maternity Shoot

Emily and Jarryd are expecting their first child in the next few weeks, I can not wait to meet the little Angel!

I had such a great time photographing this couple for their Maternity Pictures. This is truly such a special time for two people waiting to start their very own family.

I am forever amazed at how incredible a woman's body is to grow a brand new life. This is one of the most important life events to capture.
